Why it's time to stop moaning about London Transport

"Let's have a heated debate"

With apologies for using
Mrs Merton's catchphrase, my friend Liz emailed me to say that the fab BBC Radio London presenter, Robert Elms will be hosting a live debate about London Transport. With a title such as "Why it's time to stop moaning about London Transport ", how could I not go along?

The very lovely Robert ElmsRobert Elms (who's also written a great London street fashion book - perfect for any Tube fashion fans!) will be hosting a live radio show at the Museum of London on this Thursday night - 10th November - at 7.30pm. There's very little on the website but I imagine the format will be very much like Question Time with a panel from London Transport and other interested parties and a studio audience - which you can be part of.

So if you would like to go along, call for your tickets - which must be booked in advance - on 0870 444 3855 - they are £5 each or £4 for concessions.

UPDATE - I got in touch with the producer of Robert Elms' show at the BBC and have just learnt the panellists are as follows:

Christian Wolmar, Author of Subterranean Railway - A Social History of the Tube and transport specialist

Sumit Bose, Presenter of BBC LONDON's 'Inside Out' programme

Russell Hall, Black Cab Driver

Darren Johnson, Green Party member of the London Assembly (serves on the Transport Committee)

Will report back on mine and Liz and her boyfriend's experience of being there on Thursday. It should be fun!
